MatchMaker Service for Meetings & Introductions
Telecom Council's Matchmaker Meeting Service facilitates personal introductions via pre-arranged, private, 15-minute meetings both in person and virtually after select meetings. The result is a series of meaningful introductions over concise, private meetings in a short time among delegates committed to technology discovery and partnership development.
This private service is available once in the Spring and once in the Fall, generally following a Telecom Council meeting and is available for free to Telecom Council members and for a fee to select non-members. Participants can take meetings onsite in Silicon Valley on one day and take more meeting online the next. Meetings generally run 10 to 15 minutes, depending on whether they take place online or in-person, and can include multiple representatives from each company around a table or in a virtual meeting room.

Delegates will benefit from a series of meaningful introductions over concise, private meetings in a condensed timeframe. Meeting times and locations are automatically allocated based on participant availability.
OUR MATCHMAKER ACTUALLY WORKS!
On average, delegates who use our MatchMaker service get more introductions and more continuing conversations than they expected.
The most successful company from our last MatchMaker event was a Series B startup who scheduled 14 meetings. Our carriers, collectively, took 119 meetings, with BT, Bouygues, Swisscom, T-Mobile and Tata Communications each meeting with more than 10 companies over the course of the event.
The average participant actively using the MatchMaker to request and curate meetings in March 2023 secured 8 personalized meetings.
Telecom Council’s MatchMaker Meeting Service helps companies secure multiple, high-value, introductory meetings. We manage our service from first requests to confirmed meetings, onsite and online.
We bring potential partners to you. No cold calls, no dead ends. Telecom Council’s community of tech scouts are focused on finding new technologies and helping you get introduced into the right business unit.
You’ll introduce your solution to multiple telcos in a rapid-fire format that allows you to pique their interest and then delve deeper into the opportunities within a condensed timeframe.
GETTING STARTED
The MatchMaker introduction Service is included in member and Showcaser registrations, and an available upgrade for other Demo Day attendees.
- Unlimited onsite and online meetings are free for Members and Class of 2023 companies who register for Full Participation.
- Unlimited onsite and online meetings available to attendees who upgrade to "Full Participation" for $2,200.
Once you register for the MatchMaker Meeting Service, you will get instructions on how to request, evaluate, and schedule meetings here on Telecom Council's MatchMaker portal. After you set up your profile and availability, you'll move to screening meeting candiates who match. Matching for this MatchMaker event will start on Sept 11, 2023.
HOW TO GET MORE MEETINGS
- A well phrased elevator speech, succinct product profiles, photos and images, all contribute to introduce your innovation prior to the event. An intuitive interface makes setting up profiles easy and effective.
- Profiles are set up prior to the MatchMaking event and can be reviewed and updated as needed
- Add personal details, including photo so that prospective partners can recognize you
- Add company profile, including logo, descriptions, keywords for meaningful matches
- Add product profiles, include images, descriptions, development stage, market segment for focused conversations
- MatchMaking takes place online over 2 weeks before the meeting day, with the majority of meetings scheduled the week before. Companies can field multiple delegates, request a specific meeting time, and requests may be accepted, declined, rescheduled or waitlisted, dependent on your individual goals.
