All Telecom Council Forums meet to make our annual Predictions for 2021. Debate with Forum members, futurists and communication industry leaders as we kick off the year with ideas for what's coming next. We will then neatly segue into the new tech and new products introduced at CES 2021 with our tradeshow debrief.
ABOUT THE MEETING
Every year Telecom Council members, forums, and forward-thinking guests get together to think about the future. We've had some thought-provoking discussions in past years. In 2011, Gary Kovacs, then CEO of Mozilla, predicted the death of the iPod and the total domination of streaming music. And in 2014, the Internet Society predicted IPv6 would be mainstream that year.
This year, our invited expert Amy Cameron from STL Partners, will lead debate on predictions around NaaS, work-from-home, SD-WAN, and the vision for operators.
Join telcos, members, futurists, and communication industry leaders as we reflect on the technology that dominated 2020 and look ahead to the innovations likely to influence 2021. Guest passes are available for STL Partners' clients, individuals and companies who can add value to the conversation, and those considering Telecom Council membership.
CES 2021 DEBRIEF
As all foot-weary telecom professionals know, after your string of meetings back and forth around a tradeshow, there's precious little time to actually spend learning what's hot, and seeing the most worthwhile on the show floor. That's why The Telecom Council puts together these roundtable events after large tradeshows - so our members can share what they learned, what they saw, and their opinions of the products and companies in the news.
And while this year you may be more headphone weary than foot-weary, our Debrief meetings still give members who didn't go a chance to learn from those who did, and those who went also get the chance to fill out their notes with things they might have missed. Participation in these debriefs and the Debrief Reports are included in membership.
So stick around as we debrief Consumer Electronics Show 2021. Along with a Debrief Report from our analyst, our members share what they learned, what they saw, and their opinions of the products and companies that made an impression on them at the show.
