This month we invite our Telecom Council and Cleantech Council communities to a joint meeting to spotlight the growing convergence between the telecom and clean energy sectors, showcasing how sustainable data centers are increasingly essential for both industries. Join members from both councils and the vendors and investors that support innovation across the industry as we look at the opportunity and review relevant startups.

The global demand for data is exploding, driven by the proliferation of cloud computing, AI, 5G, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This surge is putting immense pressure on data centers, the backbone of the digital world, to meet escalating energy demands while minimizing their environmental impact. Prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability, green data centers have emerged as a critical solution to this challenge. As a topic where interests intersect between two of our Councils, relevant to both the telecom operators and the clean energy sector, we are pleased to host this "dual council" event. We have found that our members enjoy these ocassional dual meetings, as the topic remains interesting, and they have the chance to meet and interact with the adjacent industry guests.
